... received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from the University of Florida, where she was a Florida Merit Scholarship recipient and a member of Beta Eta Sigma Honor Society. She received her Juris Doctor from Barry University School of Law, where she was also an Academic Scholarship recipient. Shavarne was active in several student and local bar organizations and also participated in the Barry University School of Law Children and Families clinic, where she served as a Certified Legal Intern.
Shavarne worked as a Deputy Clerk in the Broward County Clerk of Court Probate Division before attending law school. Prior to coming to Thaler & Thaler, P.A., Ms. Dahlquist also worked as a Trial Court Law Clerk and Criminal Appeals Coordinator at the 15th Judicial Circuit. Shavarne is a member of the Florida Bar and practices in the area of estate planning.
